About the shop
Riverbend Tackle Co. has fitted anglers out for the water in front of them since 1971.
We opened the shop to fit people out for the water they actually fish, not the water in a catalogue. Most of what we sell, we have cast ourselves on the creeks, rivers and lakes within an hour of the door.
Ask us what to buy and we will ask where you are going first. Bring in a reel that sticks and we will open it on the bench while you wait. Licences, lessons and repairs all happen at the same counter.

Questions we are asked most
Do you fit a rod to a reel, or sell them separately?
Both. Bring the reel and we will match it to the rod on the counter, then test the balance before you leave.
Do you sell fishing licences?
We sell resident and non-resident licences for the state and the waters listed on the Waters page. Bring a photo ID.
Can I return tackle I have used?
Unused tackle in its packaging can be returned within 30 days with a receipt. Used flies, lures and line cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. See the returns policy.
Do you offer lessons for beginners?
Yes. Casting and fly-tying lessons run on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings. Book by phone or with the contact form.
